MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. His debut album ADN was made available through La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album reached number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that season, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. Later in 2021, he performed on a duet TINI on her most streamed song Maldita Foto. In 2023, he appeared on 2000, featuring the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, since both his mom and his older brother are musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music was a necessity. In his early years, he learned how to play the saxophone, ukulele and piano. His initial goal was to become a veterinarian his brother Julian advised him to go for lessons in singing with an Cuban teacher and the end consequence of him discovering his gift as a performer changed the course of his life.
